The Bay Area, Monterey, Big Sur, and San Diego
I was in California for around 2 weeks at the end of October to the beginning of November. This trip was mainly to visit friends and family. I decided to bring my Mamiya 7II with the 80mm and 50mm lens. I debated about bringing a Hasselblad 500cm and Leica M4 as well but decided that too many options might be a hinderance. I shot everything on Portra 160, 400, and 800. Same idea with the cameras, keep my options to a minimal to have consistency to my images and to not get bogged down with different choices.
I started in San Francisco and ended my trip in San Diego. I shot 13 rolls, so a total of 130 images. I am showing around 40 of them. These were all developed in a lab in Manhattan and I scanned them myself with a DSLR and processed them with Negative Lab Pro. Enjoy.
